![]() We only use the finest BCY fibers, and combine that with our advanced string building technologies to offer strings that are unmatched in the industry when it comes to durability, quality, and performance. Our advanced string technology delivers unparalleled performance for your bow, along with a warranty covering zero creep, zero serving separation, and zero peep rotation. I have to believe they could get the cost down.ABB’s custom compound bow strings are the best strings you can put on your Spyder 30 RKT # 1.2 2013 by Hoyt. I HIGHLY recommend shooting this bow!! You will love it! I can’t wait to hunt with it! That is just my personal preference you gotta do what’s best for you. It’s easier to tune, and seems to penetrate much better than a lighter, faster arrow. My bow shoots that heavy arrow at 282 fps, giving me and incredible 84 lbs kinetic energy! I could easily get my bow to shoot over 300 fps, but I prefer the heavier arrow at a little slower speed. That is much heavier arrow than most people shoot, but I prefer it because it penetrates like you wouldn’t believe. With 100 grain points, my arrows weigh exactly 475 grains. I shoot Easton FMJ 340 shafts with custom wraps and 2 inch high profile Blazer vanes. It is set at 70 lbs draw weight with a 29 inch draw length. My Hoyt Spyder 34 is set up with a #2 cam. It also has the custom Bone Collector grip, and customized string and limb shock absorbers. It has a camo riser, with black limbs and custom graphics. You can choose between Realtree Xtra, Max 1, Blackout, or my personal preference… the Bone Collector. The Spyder Turbo is 34 inches axle to axle, has a 6 inch brace height, and a blazing IBO speed of 340! The shorter brace height makes it faster, but also a little less forgiving to shoot. Both the 30 and the 34 have a 6 ¾ brace height, with IBO speeds of 330 fps. ![]() The Spyder 30, the Spyder 34, and the Spyder Turbo. The 2013 Spyder comes in 3 different options. ![]() They use the same material as Winners Choice, so your bow comes out of the box ready to shoot, and your strings will stretch less than other factory strings! One other reason I am so impressed with Hoyt Archery is that they have the best quality factory strings of any bow on the market. Hoyt’s patented limb pocket design allows the limbs to go past parallel, creating a faster bow that doesn’t jump out of your hand when you shoot it. They have also made improvements to the riser in order to make the 2013 model a little bit lighter, and they have designed a new AirShox technology to eliminate even more vibration. They have managed to achieve this without sacrificing speed or performance. The new and improved RKT cam still has an incredibly solid back wall, but also has a smoother draw cycle than before. The 2013 Spyder is in my opinion the best bow on the market. They continue to find ways to tweak and improve what seems to already be the perfect bow. Once again, my expectations have been literally blown away! Hoyt’s team of top engineers never stop until they exceed perfection. After shooting last year’s premier model, I wondered what they could possibly change in order to design an even better product than they already had. Every year I have the opportunity to shoot the latest, greatest products from Hoyt Archery. I recently purchased the new 2013 Hoyt Spyder 34.
